Hey just had a thought. (yeah yeah I know, twice in one week thats gotta be a record) As long as the eyes bake ok its going to give a wicked twinkle to the people/creatures u put them in. that's what I was going for. I made a quick 'alien' head to bake some in last night. they didn't bubble but I think it melted, and dropped down to the bottom of the eye. looks like tearfilled eyes. Feel free to laugh at the head - I just slapped it together to see what would happen when I baked the eyes.

Well bll I am going to laugh at your head. Not because I think its bad, but because if I got it that good would be proud that it actually looked like a baby. And you say you have just slapped it together. I couldnt do that after days of working on it.
Dont know about the eyes cause not sure what they are meant to look like baked.

BLL the eyes are looking really neat. Could I do something like that without a pastamaker? If so, can you show me a site as this is something I have no idea about, and I would love to be able to make this kind of eyes for my fairies in the future.

Nice site but nowhere near as nice as yours. Do you have a pastamachine receipe for eyes. But putting a little cane in the box would be wonderful ;-)

this is the tute I used: www.kerstinsfimoseite.de/fimo/Augencane_engl.htmlbut you can pretty make it up however you want by wrapping layers of colours. The radial pattern you can make by stacking colours and squishing it into a wedge, then put the wedges around the centre/pupil. The website here is just a way to tack those colours.

hi there Iluvclay nice to meet you Heres another stores.ebay.com/GLASSEYESONLINEJerry has small glass eyes on wire but it pays to buy a few pairs as they are handmade and not always size matched ( the pupils) or you could be daring and make some glass head pins painted up will work fine to. there are also small acrylic eyes that are suitable for baking but mostly start at 6mm the eco glass or galactic ? glass but might pay to ask sellers first.

Thanks for the reference Donna, but Wendy already has plenty of mine The big difference is mine are flat bottomed and not fully round But I have been thinking up ideas on how to make round ones easy enough, including some new plastic that you can melt, mould like clay and then set Will keep you posted
