It looks pretty simple from what I've seen online. just thought someone might have some tips.

yes... tones...........
wings on liquid sculpty etc its easy once you get the hand just do a couple of experiments to find your medium.
hints....
use proper ink...... always keep piece out of sun it will fade fade fadeeeeeeeeeee away in no time with refilable inks.....use pearlx also........fabulous
i actually prefer water transfer under liquid clay...... cook half way till peelable then turn and coat other side them bake threw.... ( with wires) not as tricky as it sounds...........
wings turn out really pretty.......... then you can add pearlx etc.....seal.
how does everyone else do it?

. . . hmm . . . that's sounds confusing . . . I've been reading about using t-shirt transfer paper, ink-jet printer . . . "burnish onto clay, bake part-way, peel off and finish baking" . . . is this the same concept (different method) or are we talking about different things?
