Play my pretty Play...........
apply direct to clay.... mix with paints........ mix with varnish........
i dont use arabic gum....... dont know what thats like........
I use a ton of it and try my hardest to use sparingly really.
notes on pearlx: if applying direct onto unbaked clay it will only take one colour as others just wont hold once a layer is down so carefull as she goes.... once clay has pearlx on it you will have difficulties mooching anymore clay onto it. plus it gets everywhere. i find it easier to use mixed with varnish and or paint after baking..........or in with g paints
what does everyone else do?

ahem .... if I ever get the box (VIX!) I'll put some eyeshadow applicators in. I've found them really good for applying the pearlex straight onto clay. I have also discovered you can mix colours - before applying. I mixed silver with some red blue duo that looks really cool on the grape charms I made. I've tried mixing into clay but it just disappears. Better to stick to pearl clay and mix coloured clay in for that.
