Alrighty - school holidays - i might be able to do this! How about a challenge to inspire while we're waiting for this box to get moving again . . . The challenge is a colour . . . create something using / themed with Turquoise (green-blue, blue-green, cyan, jade ...) Good Luck! ;D ;D ;D . . . oh, and show and tell will be May 30, 31.

What I meant was the stones and the colour charts show two different colour tones hows the may challenge going for all did I just see a tumble weed blow by hie hie I'm trying to take part in this challenge-started a head

yep - just looking for any green-blue tones really. I've done one - nyahaha! Still having problems with cracking in the oven - darnit! Got another sumpfin in the works, hopefully I can get it done this week before its back to the grindstone.

definitely a problem with the oven, but I've also had problems with stuff not curing - can't win last night I had scorching, the time before I had to double-bake cos it wasn't cured, AArrrgh! I'm thinking of buying a toaster oven and an oven thermometer . . .

Ive just bought a convection oven from foodtown for $49! on sale, normal price $69 OMG it is brilliant!!! when timer dings it turns off, no more forgotten sculpts

The oven is round and 11.5ltrs. perfect for my 8"-11" sculpts

So far so good in between the dragons and unicorns. But think I will change the type of thing I was making and go in a total different line. But its fun blending the two colours to make a different then to add stuff and well youll see. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Just got me some more blue and green clay. Now to clean up my mess and put the dragons down for a week ok maybe two days ... Its time to play and I have the winter market weekend in 9 weeks. Lots to do and not a Taiwanese sweet shop in sight Looks like its up to me again

hope you are inspired and make lots of wonderful things for your stall maybe you'll have speedy hands so you'll get through it all are you going to make some dragon eggs? I saw it at Countdown BLL but not for the cheaper price maybe you'll be lucky though

Still working on the eggs But lots of new things in the works will post pics when I find a camera that works they dont want to at the moment But will ask very nicely and my wonderful friend will save me .......then you can see the wands, Lol dragons , gemstone dragons mini clay books and other stuffs.

ooo, that all sounds very exciting Anubis, i can't wait to see.
I had a look for the ovens @ Countdown, all I could find was a toaster oven for $25. Don't know how reliable it would be.

yeah, that's what I thought. er, actually, I think the toaster oven did have a bake function, but still . . . are convection ovens pretty much the same as the ezycook ovens Noel Leeming are advertising on TV?

yes some of the toaster ovens do have a baking option I have no idea anybody? best is to check I never even considered the round ones before Lindi mentioned them

Quite a few in the States use them and swear by them. Everytime Countdown have them for sale I miss out, I think they know what week mortgage and insurance gets paid Twice now that has happened but I will get them next time The easycook is the same thing but a bit more moneys.

hie hie thanks for that Anubis hope you get it too ;D Lindiloo I read that that convection oven cooks at 25% faster did cook it normal time or less and what do bake you put your sculpt on?
