Since there isn't much left of October I thought I'd merge it with next month
You must be exhausted after Armageddon Expo Jules But I hope you did very well, made lots of new customers and sold a lot of your stock Did you and your hubby even get time to look around?
Hope you all had some craft time last weekend

Hi Fantail The fair was great. It was very busy and lots of fun So much was going on all the time, and such amazing outfits people had put so much effort into. And the zoombies on Sunday were so ick. Some made me almost gag with the fake maggots. There was a few crying kids that were scared of them though. But lots of fun
My crafting leading up to it was casting a resin head for my Obitsu dolls But I only ended up getting a couple of good casts out before I ran out of time. So I just decided to not rush it

Well it's been a bit quiet on here lately.. everyone flat-out with end of the year business? I know I have been. Hope everyone is well and happy. Not much time for things creative atm, although the brain runs at full-speed.. all the pieces I hope to create as soon as I get a chance. I did make some cupcake charms for an order missy Mo was asked for. She has been tied up with exams and has a part time job now.. working with the small animals and horses at Crystal Mountain. Anyway.. I found the cupcakes VERY fiddly and time consuming.. aaaand I wasn't very good at it either hahaha. Give me a figure sculpt any day, I say.. Here they are all ready for drop-off.. ps I've tried and tried to resize these... hmmm... my photos are always either too big or too small.. I dunno.

Mini cakes are fun . I've been making them for a cake shop room box. I've got 4 down, 2 to go (time willing).

I've taken a photo to show you all, because the pics I've already taken are too big to upload. I've made an apple cake, lemon meringue pie, chocolate log and black forest gateaux. I'm not really 100% happy with any of them, but they'll do for this room box. I bought the kit on trade me for $20 or something - it was a nice weekend project to do with my 12 year old daughter (I'm trying to encourage her to be more creative and crafty). Attachments:

You're welcome . The one I hate the most is the chocolate log but they all have something about them that irks me - but it's all about learning how to do it better so in that respect they are a success. Actually the lemon meringue pie would've been fine had the white stayed white after baking, but the brand I had wasn't really that good so I'll try it again with my new white Fimo.
