Have fun at the craft show and let us know how it goes. I'm busy fiddling with sidekicks face doing over and over while trying to figure it out instead of working on my main figure.

Well Friday was very very very quiet. Hopefully its not a sign of the weekend to come. This fair put a stop to my crafting, so looking forward to finishing the fair and getting back to completing my faun and Auckland doll show piece (which is still just tinfoil and masking tape)

Hi Fantail. It was a great fair thanks. And my Mother Earth doll found her new loving home, so that was nice. Just trying to get things back in order, all the usual stuff that needs to be done after the fair like a stock-take, putting my office and workshop back in order after the chaotic week getting ready for the fair, and doing some housework that always is the first thing to suffer when I am busy with the fairs.
But hopefully will get back to the faun and the Auckland show piece later this week
How about you? Are you feeling better?

Hi ladies, I have a desperate plea. My terribly disorganised sister is getting married in November and is STILL working on invitations. She wants smallish blue (royal / Ford blue) feather for the front to fit in with the 1920s / Great Gatsby theme. We have been trapsing around town all day with not even so much as a feather duster to show for it. Does anybody know where we can source some ASAP? We do have a back up plan if the answer is no, but she will be a little disappointed.

Hi BLL The local emporium here sells great bags of feathers that are very tidy. They have heaps of colours but are closed now, and not open tomorrow. But I can stop by and have a look for you on Monday if you like

Hi BLL OKay they had two packs that looked very similar. I got both as I though that one might be shorter than the other. But they are pretty much the same, especially the colour. maybe the $4.00 bag is slightly tider than the $3.50 bag, but hard to say as I only pulled a few samples out. The $4.00 bag And the $3.50 bag As to how many is in each bag? Its hard to say but at least 100 I would say. Length wise they are about 130cm. (note they are both the same colour, any variance in the two image is just from the camera) So just let me know if you want one or both, if not that is no problem - I will just add them to my feather collection in my craft box
