No Idea Blue I've yet to played with the eyelets but there has to be a trick to it
It is a beautiful day, Wish you all the best with the pouring
Yeah getting the sculpting and armature right is enough without having to add a magnet in the mix just thought I'd try this glue. Pitty it gave your hearing add problems
I have half an earless cream cat and even though its still in the early process most of which is just tacked (still have to back stitch and sew the adjustment on the body, its just pinned) I quite like the cream kitty but the Black and whites are so much cuddlier Shall make some more ears then get back to the pacifier

wow wicked.
well the first half side of the pouring is done .YAAAAAAAAAAAAA so just have to wait 5000 hours for it to set and do the other sides.
lets just say....that if you decide to brush on RTV with a big as hog brush youd best give the bristles a good squeeze first... cause lets just say........picking hog bristles out of a 300 ml rtv pot with tweezers and slippery gloved and silicon-ed hands is .......... a menace of a job. picking rogue bristles out of your moulds is not the ideal thing to do either. bristles are like glitter they go for miles...
lets also say that one should make sure one had hair up and out of the way or one WILL get bright blue rtv in her hair and will have to wait till it sets to be able to scrape and tediously pick it all out....
that aside all went fine. i have a new respect for craped out disposable brushes. NOT !
and yer magnets and digital aids dont mix at all. i even pick up beeps when my neighbor goes outside with her wireless phone 50 mhz frequency is used in to many things urg.
and yer those eyelets. its just a nack sorta a thing i guess i dunno but i still cant get them right. maybe try again not bashing so hard or bashing harder or bashing with a different more refined implement SHRUGS how can such a simple thing trip me up URG.

;D What a gorgeous day today, unfortunately I'm boring doing loads of washing and boring stuff.. I'm ready for the 2nd coat on the window, but my house is shady and cold and its so nice outside...
The soles of the shoes are ready for baking but so tiny to heat a whole oven for.. Damien pinched my heat gun. I have a toaster oven I bought for clay but I don't know if I trust it, not much to lose to give it a go I guess. Heads are still blobs and I STILL havent had a chance to do eyes... buttttt... I'm getting there.
Mini dummies/pacifiers OH MY!!!! how cool.. I've seen some RobbityBob sells but they are plastic.. yours will be great. I didnt think about magnets & H aids, I have one of those mini super strong ones, man its strong for a little thing.
I have mini eyelets here so I'll have a go and see how they are with the eyelet tools I have..
Have fun you two...
Big Hello to everyone else.. ;D

Good tip about the brush you had a bit of trouble with hair of all kinds to put it mildly LOL I just picked glitter out of my clay ( still from the embossing powder which I haven't used in weeks) It's not looking great more like a cheap button at the moment. Its just something I wanted to try I do like those mini plastic dummmies that they sell for the miniature babies I do believe they also use something sticky instead of magnets but not sure what
Sounds like we are all having interesting days

I imagine your embossing powder to be much like pearlx ? geez dont sneeze anywhere near the stuff or it goes for miles. gorgeous stuff tho but man..........it needs diligent cleaning a. and a mini pacci awwwww how adorable. there use to be this stuff around called *bull gum* ( we use to use it in the olden days before blue tack came about) it was a rubber adhesive a bit like softened rubber bands, quite tacky and tan/clear they still use it on the ends of beading thimbles --you must be able to get it somewhere. it does not stain or mark and comes off quite easy. but does have a good stick to it. we must try these things....... mini pacifiers, mini shoes little bits of fast fun projects have clay..... will play

Well my mini shoes weren't as fast n fun as yours... LOL LOL LOL Sorry I had no luck with my variety of eyelet tools, they were all too big for those minis...I'll have the same trouble when I try to use mine. This is the tool I used when I couldn't fit the eyelet gun in places.. but there again this one was too big too. You do need to give them a good smack with the hammer. I also HATE loose bristle brushes aaand rollers that lose fluff so your finish looks like a flannelette sheet. PS NIIIICE close-up with the new camera....hehehehe

That is a great close up How small are those Eye lets I have a spring loaded tool that cuts the holes and has a bit on the end for the eyelets that I can bring along when we catchup if its small enough
Sounds like interreting stuff that bull gum The On-of glue is a bit messy while applying but once properly tacky it doesn’t seem to leave a residue (if you leave it long enough that is) It will eventually loose its tackiness but they say you can just reapply the glue I’ve applied it to a bit of felt that I’ll try to adhere to the dummy permanently If its not on the doll you can just place some plastic on the sticky dot to keep it form getting dirty and lose its tackiness

very nice shot even a good reflection to well done. i had something similar looking in one of the big eyelet packs one for punching the eyelet and one for punching a hole. i bet im doing it all backwards... hmmmm i will conquer eyelets today even if it kills me. (shakes fist at sky)
ok i will go bang about a few more and see if i can get it right... lmao

Well I finished the shoes... I think They aren't perfect still but thats about the best they'll be... I think I'll make strappy tops next time, the filled in shoe is a bit tricky for a first. I should bake them or I'll find faults and wreck them trying for perfection.. I'm happy they're finished anyway. Hope you had an enjoyable day.. ;D
