;D Morning you lot.. So far one of the marionettes has had 4 perfectly acceptable faces, but not the one I 'saw' for them.. which was big eyes, small nose and pouty mouth, and they keep looking more realistic than I wanted. If they keep it up I'll just have to go with what they reveal. Stubborn sculpts..they all seem to have a will of their own don't they! I'm having fun sculpting, in fact I'm doing the rude thing again..you know, like ignoring everyone and wishing visitors would go so I can get back to it... I fear the Goblins have run off with Bll and Anubis Wishing you all a happy day..and I hope you get some creative time in too.

It seems like that Donna lol.. I have been stuck yo the sewing machine for ever try out new patterns and then redesigning them. So now I have the bellydancer, flower sprite, and the voodoo doll patterns all sorted its on to making a ton of them..... Will post pics tonight of the new.
And Im am so jealous of all the clay time you have had my plan to make little scenes with wee creatures has not worked out well this time round... the cold weather has not been very friendly to the plaster/cloth mix.
Keep up the fab work and love the eyes.

;D It is so good to hear from you anubis, sounds like you have been really busy. Whatever medium is working for you at the moment, as long as you're making your gorgeous pieces. I do hope it warms up and dries out for you down there so you can carry on with your sets and small creatures. I'll be looking out for those pics later..ohh yeess.
I ripped the heads off the marionettes, took out the eyes and squished them... and I hate to admit how GOOD it felt... Hahahaha.
Fantail, if you ever put any of your patience in a bottle and sell it, do let me know...I'll be having some..meanwhile i'm going out to dig in the garden, see if I can find some there. ;D

Oh WOW anubis, they are extremely cute. I love every one of them... Gorgeous colours on the flower sprite, voodoo is so cool, belly dancer pixie is so authentic looking. You've captured real personality with them.. I think you'd better be making a few of these..I can see them being very collectible ;D

Blue if you're around..you might be interested in an auction on trademe # 325226476 for 10 pair eyelashes for reborn/porcelain dolls $15 buynow with free shipping, or $7 start... Well I had better luck with the faces yesterday, I would like to change a few things, but they just keep coming back to the same faces and now I'm getting nervous about wrecking them completely, so I guess thats what they'll look like anyway...moving on... Tough one. looks like a cute baby but capturing that something that makes you love them is hard Maybe if you could quirk the left corner of the mouth into a half smile or something

I think he looks quite serene, maybe a little lifeless... I think he is worth some blushing up and wet little lippys, don't give up on the sweet little guy

Not the dodgy box - sounds like the naughty corner - poor baby Each of the features looked good to me even the mouth as it is so I played around in photoshop, lowered and widened the eyes a bit and it looks cute, I'll send you the pic if you want Of course taking a break from something that frustrates you does help I 'm having trouble with a left eye again too far back, then too far left, then not the right angle...

trouble with eyes? ? welcome to my world groan and sure post pics they are always helpful. i pimp up my photos to and throw them into grid in the aim of symmetry but alas. well ya know how that goes....lmao the brain knows...the eyes can see but the fingers just wont do it... but i did paint the sucker up and now i know where i went wrong i kinda knew but needed it to slap me in the face once more... the jaw is to low and to far forward throwing the mouth outwards past where it should be. it could have been 5mm upwards and inwards. and tucked / sucked that bottom lip in. its just way to far forward. i just cant redeem it so ....hes gonna stay and forever will be big jaw baby...........snigggggger but ill still make big jaw some limbs...i need the practice... then i got those 15 inchers i just gotta start or ill combust......seriously sigh...........but anyhow....... am still loving yoru prototypes anubis LOVE voodoo dolly.....love all of them. and bll........ya latest and greatest.....and lindyloo amazing ladies they are just divine............ and Donna im itchin to see your marionetts......and tails my dearest........... your all so appreciated. time for caffeine have a fabulous one ladies xR Attachments:

Well all painted he is really beautiful, sweetly serene. I actually like him as is, specially since we come in all shapes and sizes and some children do have longer faces he actually looks quite natural. There is a bit as babies grow were they do have slightly longer faces. Wow his hair is beautifully painted. we can play around with proportions and come up with a million different faces again with the eyes and I didn't bulk the back of the head enough to start with
