oooo cooooooool.
and yer we do go threw some strange and wonderful self imposed trials and tribulations....... only cause we all push the boundrys of whats considered *the norm*.... "
normal......shudder
makes me laff how we often get a little frustrated with a project thrash it to the dodgey box only to pull it back out, finish it off and end up with something quite wonderful after originally cursing it to Hades. who said we are stubborn hmmmmm
"Ive got an idea" & " im gonna invent something" have taken on a whole new meaning round these parts. usually entails 5 hours of frustration failed experiments and eventually success after turning full circles with things lmao
but i do find it so fascinating seeing what you all invent / create
sorry to hear about your tree troubles anubis maybe air dry clay would be easier for them ? youll work it out tho and produce something fantastic as always. but clad you still got to create some creatures and bet it felt good to play with clay again.
Bll your daughter is so gorgeous and grown sooooooooo much her outfit is wicked. and yer i can imagine the work that went into that..... beautiful job tho well done.
books donna.........oh dreamy stary eyes at books....... ya know i love books so much i even have a book on books.....lmao its quite fascinating really it starts with copper and Coptic scrolls all the history threw to the printing press.
anyhow enough ranting ive gotta get the air blaster out and clear the way from front door to studio so i dotn loose you two tomorrow HA
have a great one ladies

Hi everyone.. Well I had the most wonderful day today... ;D Thank you Blue for such a warm welcome. I'm feeling very inspired now and have heaps of idea's zooming around in my head.. Fantail it was an absolute pleasure to meet you, what a sweetheart you are. My family loved your biscotti and thought your tiny little bear was the cutest. Thank you both for a very happy day You might be interested in the work of Aidamaris Roman I was telling the girls about today.. I really love her style, I think her accessories and clothing are quirky and effective. Don't forget to check out her accessory site Fantail. Bll you might want to rethink the mini tutu's when you see the prices she commands www.forgotten-hearts.com/I'm off to play with new treasures

Still feeling a little sleep deprived but the sun doesn't want me to sleep. I can't believe it I left my beautiful sunflower at Blues. Blue , please look after it-and maybe take a photo for me so I can enjoy it if you have time. I do like their sunny faces. At least it didn't get hurt by me while I ran to catch my bus home. It was wonderful we talked dolls and got to see the place where the magic happens and clay becomes beautiful sculptures and Blues collection including Anubis's fairy and we talked more dolls. So easy to talk to you both and the best thing was to chat about what we love. I was at the bus stop early but naughty bus driver didn't pick me up said they don't pick up there, even though there is a bus stop sign with new timetable with only his and another bus number on it. And the maxx site directed me to that stop. So waiting for the next bus at the next stop, I missed out on another half an hour that I could have spent with Blue and Donna. Traffic was bad due to the U2 concert and I only got home at 6.30 and then enjoyed looking after my well behaved niece and nephew. A great end to a wonderful day ;D Blue the gold Du kit bakes at 130-150 degrees so you can bake at 130 no problem Wow her dolls are beautiful thanks for the link Donna, I see what you mean Here is some BJD's I saw the other day doll-fan.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=238902I will try making one soon-ish

Hello everyone... Hope you all enjoyed this gorgeous day today. Fantail, sorry to hear you had delays getting home..I can't understand the bus driver not stopping for you I think you did very well to catch 2 buses from one end of the city to the other and I'm so glad you did.. Thank you for the bjd link, what a beautiful face she has.. I had to drive up to Wellsford today to drop the young people off... I missed getting them on the bus late yesterday coz I was having too much fun at Blue's hehe. Morgan went home with her artist teddy all boxed up beautifully for her Mum she was so proud to present him to her. She also took a selection of different clays, books and a few tools so it looks like we have a new convert, she said she'll be asking for modelling stuff for Christmas ;D

I'm glad I did too it was so worth it. I'm so unfit, I jogged down part of Queen street to catch the bus home and am really feeling it today. A good thing you didn't try to drop the kids off on Friday afternoon the traffic was very bad Wellsford now that's far That's great news, I can't wait to see her progress and see what direction she ends up going Any luck with the clay Anubis and Bll?

;D Hello... I'm just popping in to say Hi, I'm absolutely cooking outside trying to turn the jungle back to a garden, I'm unfit as well fantail, maybe it's sitting-on-behind sculpting... Let us know how the ballet concert went Bll, I'm sure it was well worth the effort too... Anubis have you made a start on the Persian Alchemist project yet? Don't forget to call out to us if you need 'that perfect something that you can't find'... we might have it... or we'll track down that little goblin hoarder/thief and see if we can find it.. hahaha. Well I haven't done much, I'm still obsessing about the joint dilemma on those puppets, trying to find the perfect solution OMG, please let it be soon I can't go any further until I do. I have cut off my previous damage but any more and they'll be 'stumpy-legs' hahaha.. Blue's book was sooo cool..blue should I tell you that I've also been obsessing about the eye tute that was in it.. ;D HA!! Okay enough from me, back out to the jungle...

It was very hot earlier I know that scraping at a certain angle ( like getting those curls/shavings from chocolate) with a round bladed scalpel can allow you to scrape bits away without too much shattering What if you sculpt a joint on a spare dowel to see if it will work

Phew! all over. I don't think I'll buy a ticket next time. The show was great just a pity about the audience. ok maybe I'm at the end of my tether, but my mister 4 sat quietly through 2 and a half hours of show, why couldn't the little $#!+s behind me?? The mother was as bad, did nobody teach her how to whisper? Babies crying all over the place - take them out, people!!! I'll watch for free from sidestage and help with hair makeup and costume changes, then I'll buy the dvd (costs less than a ticket).
ok ... rant over. Little Miss got an award for "excellence in ballet". I think it might mean 2nd best score in the exam, but just guessing. She's quite chuffed of course. We bought her a wood cutout deco that says Dance that she had pointed out a few nights ago as a congratulatory pressie. Likes that too. I also made two cakes and dip for morning tea shout tomorrow. And yay sold a 2 auctions this week.
