It still pokes through but the single wire I find more slippery - ok that doesn't sound right what I mean is the clay sticks better if its twisty of course you can use masking tape if the wire is thicker but the masking tape doesn't grip when I try to wrap it around fine wire Let me know if you have better luck Blue

;D Hi, I'm bored with my domestic chores The hands looked heaps better at 1.30am this morning, than they do in the light of day..Lol.. so I take back what I said about them being nearly finished.. I had stashed away a tutorial on making individual nails using translucent polymer clay over a knitting needle .. so just to make myself crazy..I am going to be giving that a go too. And Blue..I hope you noticed the "NOT" after my comment about the micro BJD, no holding me to that one.. I'm looking forward to everyone else's mini sculpting though.. Back to boring... ;D

Hi. I had a power outage today.. from 9am and finally back on at 3.20pm, had to go out in this savage weather coz it was so yuck being here with no power- dark & dismal. It's a real eye-opener to how much we rely on power when you don't have it.. Did you get to fixing up little beasties legs yet fantail? I've really missed sculpting through this busy time, especially as I'd finally found the things I needed. I'll try to make some time for it real soon. Hope all is well.. ;D

Merry Christmas To My Female Friends
If I were ol’ Santa, you know what I’d do
I’d dump silly gifts that are given to you
And deliver some things just inside your front door
Things you have lost, but treasured before.
I’d give you back all your maidenly vigor,
And to go along with it, a neat tiny figure.
Then restore the old color that once graced your hair
Before rinses and bleaches took residence there.
I’d bring back the shape with which you were gifted
So things now suspended need not be uplifted.
I’d draw in your tummy and smooth down your back
Till you’d be a dream in those tight fitting slacks.
I’d remove all your wrinkles and leave only one chin
So you wouldn’t spend hours rubbing grease on your skin.
You’d never have flashes or queer dizzy spells,
And you wouldn’t hear noises like ringing of bells.
No sore aching feet and no corns on your toes.
No searching for spectacles when they’re right on your nose.
Not a shot would you take in your arm, hip or fanny,
From a doctor who thinks you’re a nervous old granny.
You’d never have a headache, so no pills would you take.
And no heating pad needed since your muscles won’t ache.
Yes, if I were Santa, you’d never look stupid,
You’d be a cute little chick with the romance of a cupid.
I’d give a lift to your heart when those wolves start to whistle,
And the joys of your heart would be light as a thistle.
But alas! I’m not Santa. I’m simply just me,
The matronest of matrons you ever did see.
I wish I could tell you all the symptoms I’ve got,
But I’m due at my doctor’s for an estrogen shot.
Even though we’ve grown older, this wish is sincere,
Merry Christmas to you and a Happy New Year.

;D ;D ;D HAHAHA !!! Thanks Bll, what a great start to the morning. Blue, the vision of the bickering biddies LOL.. wish I was there, I would have loved that.. The warehouse used to sell a set of 2 old biddies with walking frames, you wound them up and they had a 'race', crack-up.. I really wanted to buy them. Real life version would have been sssooooo funny. No stress for me, I avoid busy times, drive in the outskirts, don't go to the malls, and buy on-line ;D otherwise I would be one of those biddies out there, haha. Last shopping day for me today, only a couple of 'hard-ones' to buy for now.. Yay!! All the best to you fantail, you'll get it right Anubis, are you in your cave, avoiding all stress and the one-armed man? Please can we see your pixie house, please... Have a fantastic day...

hey, i hope you saw me dancing with Moe, too! Got most of xmas shopping done today. yay. Just 2 biggies to buy when the recipients tell us what they want! Best idea we ever had was to stop buying something for everyone and start pulling names from a 'hat'. Used to spend about $30-$40 on each of ten adults on my side of family. Now we have one each to buy for and they get a decent $100 pressie instead. And we save about $150 and many many hours wandering the shops. still ... I was over it by 1pm. Been wrapping furiously. Just came online to learn how to make a good bow.

for Fantail ;D. Hey did you finish the little dragon for your baby nephew? Bll I saw the video, but didn't realise it was you and Moe. Watched it again, Lol, hilarious- made me laugh hard.. ;D Didn't manage to see anything for the 'hard to buy for', ie nephews 17 & 21 and my brother, so looks like car mags, vouchers & chocs for them. I do manage to find AND buy things for ME though, not a good idea being out shopping every day, LOL Today it was a gorgeous top with sparkly dragonflies. Blue I was close to Geoffs today and called in. They had large, ornate ceramic crosses for only $2.95. New in, not smoke stock. They are cool, especially for that price.. I bought one to give and one for MEEEE!!!! Off to wrap pressies...

new pics, YAY! ur right blue, the wired ribbon is so much easier to use than the other stuff. Unfortunately I'm trying to use up some of my reclaimed stash and most of it is floppy soft and slippery. Ah well. This page was all I needed: hubpages.com/hub/How-to-make-a-Bow-out-of-Ribbon
