wow 39 pages already i reckon we can get this to 99 and start again lmao but then again .........
as for limp wristed bogan bobble head...i just dunno what to say...... but im laffin still sounds like fun tho another step closer to completion wicked work
do you have a small lazer light fantails? i cant wait for the pics. hes gonna look smashing.
as for girlie blue shoes well......... she might go to china they have head hunted her ; ) so will know in a few days on their decision. fingers crossed anyhow. she would be a cool as play toy i think with diffy coloured eyes and hair etc she would come up quite nice in vinyl. and yer names are so darn hard for me to... but something old fashioned i guess if they take her they will give her a new name anyhow.
my necks still as stiff as 100 year old fimo but doing a bit better thanks. have this knot in the side the size of a boulder i swear it. have used some cold cream that sorta freeze you then help sort the muscle it works after about an hour but probably better for general aches and pains. just bad posture really, serves myself right im always harping on at everyone to sit right...... karma much? lmao
as for eyes........... never got to them today despite my best intentions.
bbl to drool over beastie pics

Can't promise will need to see if the camera works in the dark I have a torch but might be a bit bright we'll see
Ouch sounds sore - perhaps you need a warm bean bag Great news about the dolly - yes she will be great as a play doll Have you see the fairies made by Adrie Stoete (sp) Elin and Elawin?

Here we go Muhahaha! The cheap torch kept failing me and I couldn’t find the other so I didn’t get the angle I wanted but it still looks scary to me, certainly not the cute little beast I intended

;D HAHAHA... COOL, he certainly looks like an evil little dude there.. thanks for getting the shot, well worth it... ;D Excellent news about the interest in your dolly Blue, she will be great in vinyl... Hope your strained neck gets better soon... Fantail the fairy dolls are gorgeous, quite a Bjd look in the face and different from her babies. I like them. I can't change the limp-wrist look Why didn't I notice it wasn't sitting right BEFORE I baked... dammit. I'll have to try to disguise it.. 'campy' is NOT what I needed LOL..

;D Good Morning you lot... Hi Bll, so great to hear from you Good luck with the start of school, I thought it bad enough to be organising ONE kid.. lol. I hope you do get a bit of time for making wonderful creations soon. Fantail, this is the link I looked at for the fairy dolls: l-michelle.typepad.com/lacey_michelle/2010/09/elawin-elin-fairy-kits-by-adrie-stoete-.htmlHey Blue, hope your stiff neck is getting better now... I managed to fix the wrist thing this morning... I scraped it back and it was the wire armature sticking up so I cut it off. Looks a lot better now, and I WILL leave it at that now (otherwise I will wreck it, I know it)... Have to go out and do heaps of things today... I hope you all get lots done and have tons of fun... ;D

have to reshape the hips and shoulders and work on the joints somewhat but its not a bad match for a first effort really. am happy with it so far. just a bit more to go. used standard 3mm elastic which just had way to much give in it. will sort that next week. and the S hooks are a little large i need a different design. alllllllmost there. it moves quite well. will only just stand if balanced right but isnt stable at all isnt strung strongly enough at the mo. once the hips are aligned correctly it will stand much much better better. the elbows need shaping in also. just a nip and a tuck here and there. xR Attachments:

She's coming along BEAUTIFULLY... I've had a chance to do some work on flicky-bobble, so the body is pretty much finished now. Considering Mike thought it was silly to start with, he started making suggestions/demands at the 11th hour...Lol. So no long sleeve top... and I hadn't allowed for the arms exposed, so I had a bit more to do... it also means I have to do 3 tattoos on tiny arms... hmmmm... tattoos with a tooth-pick. I think he was paying me back for the nakey humiliation... ;D Enjoy your night...

Hah I thought he would start asking you to customize Pitty you can't just take photos of the tats and do a transfer - though I haven't figured out how they do transfers with clay and it might be a world of more complications including taking out the skin background on the computer so you don't end up with a dark patch then printing the right size then getting it on the arm and smoothing it in etc They make is seem so easy in this video but I know it is not www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMzeyvjeU3MLol Blue poor girl undergoing more surgery - well I know she will be perfect soon

;D Good morning lovelies... Fantail she does make it look easy... I'll bet I would smudge it or something, lol. I've bookmarked tho' coz I would really like to try image transfer, thank you.. I've finished on the body for now, the arms might need to match the head colour so I'll add tattoos and hair later. The tats are old and not well defined and hes a hairy little beast so it won't be fun.. meanwhile I think I might get fine-line pens to make it easier.... I would have taken photos but hes taken the camera to work so I can't... I'll make a start on the head today and I guess eyes are on the list too... Hope you have a wonderful and creative day ;D

ooo cool Donna flicky bobble does sound neat as.......lmao
hows it going tails ? busy week ahead now ?
and yer dolls parts lieing on the table makes me feel a little sadistic to chop her up again. awww but yer it had to be done. almost there. and now ive added in a second shoulder joint after i said i couldnt.....groan but it will help anyhow. i hope. but this is the last shot i have after all these bakes the clay will just be way to brittle if i dont stop soon. I dont know how durable the polymer bjd really are long term. i mean after a few hours playing with mine the joints started rubbign and wearing so can see the advantage of lining the joint with felt or leather. also i need to get a new source of metal hooks the ones ive used are to short and hit threw the wrist........hmmmmm
ok back to it.....bbl

I've drawn on clay with pencil maybe you could use sharp pencils and just seal it with a little mat varnish / although the varnish might make it a bit shiny
Yes busy but I might bake a few eyes today, Need to make loads - how is your week Blue Hope you figure out those tricky joints

I saw a tutorial where she had used silicone to 'felt' bjd joints, I could have another look for it if you want... all the best with your surgery today... Fantail, (and Blue) do you think it's best to make oval eyes or round? I see others are making oval eyes these days... Good idea using pencils too thanks.. I'll definitely give it a try... Well I went ahead and took photo's with my phone, so one again - excuse the bad quality... Hes 10cm without neck btw.... ;D

Wow he is fantastic his clothes his boots his arms so great I can't wait to see his face Oval is good if you what the eyes to face mostly forward probably easier then making full round but round allows you to pose them more make the look up and down or to the side easily without worrying about edges

HOLY CRAPPOLA !!!! (am i aloud to say that here? ) Donna i love him love the redbands to. headless boot bobble head man is FANTASTIC OMG I thought youd gone for a quickie project but this is freeking fantastic !!!!!!! **WELL DONE YOU*** but 10 cm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omfg your as insane as Tails with your small min things as things. as for eyes. ( squints own eyes ) EYESSSSSSSSSSSZ good god naturally they are round. but oval does have advantages. just depends on dolls shaped face to cause round you do have the advantage to turn them with ovals youd have a pointy corner to deal with. upto you. Im with you on that tails. round would be more versatile overall ?? siliconing felt or leather etc into the joints sounds like a perfect idea to stop that wear it might also help stop any slipping? hmmm ok back to it. the new neck and hips are done god i could clap with glee lmao.............bbl

Aaawww thank you girls, I really appreciate your comments. It actually is a good likeness so far, his clothing was quite difficult with squishy sculpty 111 and I have a few nicks and blemishes but I'm going to leave them lest he join the girls in their box... Thanks for your thoughts on the eyes, I understand how the two styles would suit so I might as well make a few of each then. Blue I looked up a few sights mentioning sueding, it seems quite common, even to replace original suede on resin bjds... Also it wasn't silicone it was hot glue (gun)... heres one link ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3LVkkIgCFg ..just adding that they use the hot glue INSTEAD of suede or felt...
