Oh yes.. thats definitely a kissable face and squishable cheeks.. shes gorgeous. Love the bengal kitten.. I want!!! Love the adorable bully babies... so cute. Aaaah spoon dolls, what a lot of character they have.. I havent been on JW website for ages... shes brilliant, I'll have a good look around when I get a quiet moment. I would really love to play around with those image programs and make the perfect eyes. I'll have a go, but it takes me ages to do, and I get lost and confused..lol.. its an age thing I think.. I have a busy day today but I'll call in to see what mischief you are up to... btw I don't like windy days.. Have a wonderful day..

Hi Anubis, they are very cute Still haven’t fixed her leg and this is not a great pic but here she is looking like she is holding a spear or trying to stake something. I really need to make a hand so that she can get rid of at least one toothpick

the hand is still coming along need to go find some of my other tools to smooth out the inside and add nails etc. I've started making extra armatures so I can make flat feet and feet for heeled shoes ( mainly cause I don't like her flat foot ) Have you started moulding and resin-ating your bjd's I haven't fixed the leg yet still needs to build up the 'shelf'- I can't string her tightly or her knee just bends

yer those legs a flicky flipping.........groan. its sorta why i made HOW MANY CHANGES ? i just couldn't get it right but yours looks perfect right off the batt really really pretty..
shes gorgeous yaaaaaa
and yer going threw some chemistry thangz today also sorting the perspex lid and vacuum blah blah i did manage to get the vacuum valves set on the pressure pot lid fine but you do need clear to see when the vacuum pops up the gas yadda yadda. so yer. but will use a combination of vacuum and pressure. and rotocasting. will just give me options tis all
oh well back to it.

Do you have your lab coat on and that magnifying glass strapped to your forehead I hope you get it sorted to make it easier for you to know when the vacuum is done and then you'll be making multiple BJD's in no time
hehe I like Lily's hat

;D Hello.. I'm finally free... Dahlia is exquisite Fantail.. I was awe-struck with the leg, especially the lower limb. I can see the result of all your agonising though, what a result.. awesome leg. I havent seen any Bjds with knees as good as that and I've seen a lot. Hope you get the movement sorted asap. Mad scientist Blue.. ;D I cant wait for resin-ated Bjd's who are now needing names soon. Hey I forgot to tell you that it was 'easy-cast' Damien showed me. Spent the day with my girls Morgan & Shea playing artists today. Heaps of fun, Shea completed a mixed media/altered art piece that she was extremely pleased with.. She didnt let her limitations stop her, boy she's a determined young woman. She'll be continuing with mixed media now she knows she can achieve it... Happy outcome... ;D I need some clay-time...!!!

no lab coat tho but a black hoodie... oodles of paper work tho
that easy cast is what i was looking at its white but has a flex and very strong. you can rotocast it fine but it will slump towards the end. theres also a more transparent urethane i might try also. hmmmmmm best keep reading i think... gotta checks out the UV status blah blah... trickery and trickery.....
oodles of other non clay matters to attend to also today. but its sunny wand warm so easier to manage a
Tails... hows it going ?
have a great one lufflies

I seem to be busy with other things lately as well, not much time for sculpting...
I've started getting annoyed with the clay I've used for these two figures, smooshing smooshing and getting nowhere. It's got out of hand.. they should have been very simple-very fast. A quick rub over with oil seemed to help smooth one part so I'll try that when I get a chance and finish them off...wasting time now..
Blue if you want to know anything about the casting resins I can ask Damien, if he can help - he will. I know they use it and other similar products all the time at his work. Jesse and I went to Crystal Mountain this afternoon...magic ;D

you went to crystal mountain and you didn't take me ! isnt there a law somewhere about that ? kiddin....... isnt it beautiful ohhhh sigh. thanks so much for the info it all helps. that easy cast seams to be a good all rounder. some of the other fancy stuffs seam like post cast bubbles might drive me batty. i just need something simplistic to start with. but oh i dream of a flesh tinted transparency. Sorry your project is turning to trickery for you : ( right time & right mood thang ? that crazy video of the stop motion bjd. was a good attempt but what i really loved was her room. all those miniatures oh it was really cool. it was a small set / room box but quite effective. flagged study today and went and painted with acrylic and resin...... first painting was brilliant i was so chuffed then coated with clear resin only to have the paint dissolve and turn allllllllll the resin blue........ GROAN i should have been patient and waited for coats to dry thoroughly oh yes i should but no i did not and now am suffering cause i have to wait for the resin to set so i can repaint over and then re-resin it all once more. but its quite effective. anyhowzzzzzzz.........am stalling with decisions......... going to have to sculpt a set and get cracking

;D Good morning Blue, good morning to you all. It is going to be a wonderful day... Yes I did get some treasures at crystal mountain.. ;D that 1/2 price table draws me like a magnet.. I was restrained though only bought two pieces. Impatient Bluey, resining wet paint...hehe. So tempting to want to get on with the next stage though isn't it, I do it to... hope it's all fixed now. Are you enjoying your job Fantail? The setting used for the stop motion movie was fantastic, love those little mini rooms of furniture and cute things. Gotta go, back soon..
