I seem to be in the same mood... as you can tell... so much to do.. actually the green recycling is due for collection and my bin is empty, but its sooo windy I don't feel like weeding in the wind. Speaking of winding up a key - I'm actually on the net at the mo' looking for wind-up musical turntables..snap! None in NZ is seems, I should have known this Just an idea I'm toying with, maybe something I could use for the show... but just one of many ideas unfortunately. OH HELLOOO..its ME AGAIN at the top of the page... geez I need a life LOL... ;D

Heeeheeee.. we ALL do it!!! Off on tangents... However I did spend 2 days on another idea, searching, sourcing and then changed my mind... I like the idea of a musical turntable, but with metal Key..not plastic.. but I could change that... but if I did go with it I would need to work around the turntable... hmm maybe another tangent tho'. Not a carousel, I don't want to do all the horses... unless your darling hubby wants to go in with me and make all the horses... ;D nah just joking... I already hear his response from here.. I'll mssg you something I've seen that I loved...

;D yep that would work too... I'll need to have a good look around I think... I saw a musical cake turntable on ebay, metal too so could go in the oven if needed... however "happy birthday" music isnt happening...
My brain hurts... ;D

Good morning to you all..
Hope you had a restful sleep Fantail... everyone seems to be tired at the moment... the change in weather might have something to do with it... its quite sad to see the end of summer...
Back is fine now, just a few stretched muscles obviously needing more excercise.
I hope to get to some sculpting today, I hope you get a chance to do the same... ;D

Good Morning. there is something in the air. Lord knows its blowing strong enough down the hill here. strange air pressure. it almost feels like equinox winds plus the waning moon also, a release after a closer gravity full moon this month ? shrugs. but there is something in the air moma feel so flat. might go jam a finger in a wall socket to lively myself up. lmao nope i wont really don't worry. need to test out the vacuum chamber... so watch for loud explosions followed by *wench screeching* if it fails....... and chemistry. will stop putting it off and just go throw myself at it... STILL loving the kitty lineup and the bobble body's. bbl when one is electrified.

still no sculpting for me...sucks I've reduced my workspace to a small table and cleared my dining table as least... no I still haven't cleaned my workroom yet.. it's called a studio when its tidy lol. I have to go buy a small tent for Jesse after school, hes going camping on the beach in Wellsford.."look out the window child" !!! He'll fly back, tent will become a parachute. That also means another dreaded peak hour trip to the city today....aaaaand he wants us to pick him up Sunday so we can look at a car he wants up there...btw he has NO money.. aaaand my former husband has asked if he can stay here next week... he is having an op in Auckland for a broken neck...how many times did I wish that on him over the years..karma to me huh! So I don't know when I can ever sculpt again... Sorry you can't go to Topmark today Blue, I hope you get all the technical stuff sorted out, must be frustrating not being able to get to it after all your work.. Happy stitching Fantail, I'm loving those cuties... I hope you get some more sculpting time Bll, I know how you feel.. Hi to Lindiloo and Anubis... Hi to our guests...

well i sulked and paced the house for half an hour and decided to grow a set and go to topmarks regardless. so im back with a box of goodies and this weekend shall set to motion a few tasks. all hearing technical difficulty's aside we managed to sort it all out eventually. Elizabeth is a true champion.
was good trip over . nice blat on the motorway with disturbed turned up to ear bleeding levels........... oh yerrrrrrrrrr the trip home was a total crawl the motorway was chocked to an almost standstill in parts. what the heck i say.
sounds like youve got time covered for a wee while Donna. dont you worry tho the passion for clay will never leave and youll be back to it lickerishly split.
Tails....... what can i say... you have my admiration .. its a hard task.
well i have resin, and cannot stop grinning like a fool. months and months and months of work of different degrees upto now. so now molding and casting............then painting wigging and dressing hats and shoes. still a large process of work involved. but it will get quicker and easier as time rolls by with it. then back to sculpting in the meantime and work on improving the bjd bodys etc pimp the process............ yup this will keep me busy for years.
as for the 10 inchers, ive sculpted new limbs and made changes to existing heads etc ...... they will be so soft silicone and scrumptious and simply cannot wait to get them thrashed out. I know they will make cute as toys. its been so helpful having your outfits tails trying them out on the different sized bodys with the diffy sized heads etc it all helps to give me that eye for the scale they need etc. nice to see them dressed to makes them seam much more real.
am still waiting on that new overlocker looper needle so i can start plodding along with the costumes. but it wont be long.
what is it with mannequins why are they so cool?, and birdcages, and old big keys and...and..........and.......these Things just things but oh larrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr must have cool and neat things.....

You are going to be busy blue, you have a mammoth task ahead but you always get so much done, you are a legend, and encouraging - my task is simple really Glad something I did could help you I doo love them old keys too cant wait to see them all casted and painted then dressed and wigged - eeeks I'm glad I'm only doing one dolly for the show
Shoes hmm wonder how you are going to make those. Cant wait and so glad you got the resin sorted I'd still like to try and come up a dungaree pattern and one of those bubble outfits for babies- don't know the real name but I think they will look supper on your dollies too

ooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo Cool
more sewing and stitching and tacking of things into place then to cut and replace then cut and resize then tack then sew then trim then sew then turn inside out and back again half a thousand times.......OMG ....... and you have not even gotten to the joints yet.......... ( head implodes at the sheer thought of it) !
and yes old keys...... preferably jailers keys on a hoop and large caste iron imitation Victorian style skeleton keys omg why are they so so very cool i did see a really cool patina at topmarks that makes things look like they have a thousand years of rust on them and omg the effect was so totally amazing.
my brains fryed no matter how hard i try, so have put boxes of chemistry aside till the morro brings me a fresh brain and am gonna go make an iddy biddy just cause i like to torture myself WINK
funny but im really getting excited GRIN gotta dash tho but you have yourself a wonderful afternoon and will catch you next installment...........
be good and dont turn your fingers into pin cushions

Kid isn't going camping now... should think not... bugga the ex, I'm not cleaning up for him.. I WILL SCULPT... you two are having way too much fun to leave me out... I'm very very happy for you Blue, theres no stopping you now. I remember the soft silicon limb on your baby, that was so amazing it feels so life-like. I really can't wait for the results. Fantail, have you nearly finished the kittys yet? I called in to an emporium shop to find something revolving and musical to smash up, they did have some things but not quite right... Putting it out there so something will come my way... ;D

What a stunningly beautiful piece of work that is. What a joy to see.
I was zipping up outside blinds, reaching one by standing on a chillybin with wheels on - and yes it did move and I fell off...LOL Well I've sprained my thumb... and I have to condition clay now... that'll teach me... ;D
All the best with all your projects... Have fun..

Donna I have something i think would be perfectly suitable but i have to get the boys up into the roof to retrieve it. its a wind up with the top revolving over the base slightly off center ( this can be changed) i dont know what music is on it *you will have to listen to that to find out* i used them years ago i put mini babies on them. or your welcome to smash it up and use the parts as it has a *stand bar that would be useful.
as for shoe soles.......was finking a push mould and clay. or thin foam sheet for kid shoe soles. but ladies shoes will need the clay.
sorry to hear about your thumb. hope it heels up fast.
running threwwwwwwwwwwwwww xR
