;D Hey everyone ;D Hi fantail, I was wondering how you were getting on with your competition piece, I REALLY hope it is going wonderfully for you. I'm thinking about you. I can't wait to go to the show and see everyones creations, but YOURS especially  . Wondering how Blue is going with her entry...  Bll have you had any time for sculpting/beading? Anubis how are you going with your latest creation? Nearly finished for piccies? I didn't get to play with the angelina film  I had to get real about the time I had left before family comes to stay (in 3 days time) Last day for the builders today then a major clean-up aaarrrgh!!!! I did finish painting the girls and have half done the hair (I really like the effect of the tussah silk BTW) but otherwise...to quote Anubis....they're looking at me.... I bought a DVD off trademe...Patricia Rose sculpting 7" fairy for $25.00, can't wait to get it, should be helpful. Well thats my chat for now..off to work my butt off !!! Take care... |

Your too kind Donna - no pressure hey  No smooth sailing yet, still bumping into obstacles - all sorts of things going on at the moment I hope you get the clean up done swiftly I look forward too meeting you if we manage to bump into each other at the show Blue are you going to have a table again this year? Hope Bll, Anubis and Lindiloo gets time for clay or other creativities |

;D Well I'm outa time now, family are in NZ, coming for a BBQ tomorrow.surprise for eldest sons 27 birthday..we managed to keep it a secret for 3 MONTHS..can't believe it. I'm still in a mess, but I tried haha. Now I can bore them all to death by talking about "all things polymer clay" incessantly, seeing as its my obsession LOL LOL
Wonderful to hear from you Bll, I really hope you get some clay time in soon, you make such gorgeous things.
All the very best for your competition piece fantail...it will be fab I know it.
.I'm going to continue to glue the hair on the girls and anything else I can play with during quiet times.

Birthday week for me my son turned 12 on the 2nd and my daughter turns 20 on the 7th. But I have been playing with my mixed media picture idea. So far ok not what I really want but a start.
Spent most of the weekend making sure my family in CHCH are ok. Pleased to report that all is fine other than broken things and a garage thats a bit closer to the neighbours than it was on Friday.

It seems to be birthday month with all the family and friends birthdays coming up
I hope you can achieve what you have in mind
Horrible what happened in Canterbury. Hope Zigzag went unscathed.
Its great that no one died and your family is well but still sound really scary with the continued aftershocks and peoples lives being uprooted
Thinking of them all and hope that Christchurch can get back up and running soon.

Best of luck with your mixed media idea, hope it goes well for you. Thinking of you fantail, hoping all is going great with your competition piece. Having a good time with my family, unfortunately the weather is not on our side (could it be worse!!!!) They had definitely forgotten what NZ winter/spring is like, haha. Less then three weeks to go and I still have some major work and lots of little things to do on my entry but I have to focus on a few other things too ;P hope the weather improves for you and your family Just had a flash of a couple of Walt Disney characters that asked if it could get any worse |

HELLO ALL Fantail, time sure speeds along doesn't it, months quickly become weeks...all the best for your sculpting.. I was on trademe and noticed Petra (zigzag) had no listings on either accounts so I was concerned about how she had fared with the 'quake and emailed her. I'm pleased to report all is ok with her. My niece and nephew arrive today to join their parents ;D. It's been a whirlwind visit, lots to do and so little time LOL. I'm quite exhausted..and I have 14 people coming for dinner tonight  Take care all.. |

;D Morning.. fantastic night last night, everything went very well, we are off to the zoo today (if this sun stays out). I LOVE the zoo, and eldest son has made a lot of the displays there too (the dragon and tiger and other displays) so he can show them what he has made. They all liked my troll and the sprite fairies and didn't seem to mind me blabbing on about sculpting hehe..in fact they were all asking if I would make them various pieces Have a great day everyone  |

;D Morning all. Had a perfect day at the Zoo the other day , fantail the tiger cubs are fully grown and gorgeous, quite 'sociable' too, they come right up to the glass to stare.. Family are all going home tomorrow  . Today is "International Angels Day", have a wonderful day today ;D |

Well looks like I have alot of time to play with clay.. I dont see any markets for me in the next year or so. Not with the stadium now a twisted mess on the ground. So lucky it happened this weekend as Dunkleys was to be held there next weekend.

I've just watched the news..things are not good down your way Anubis. What a huge volume of snow..you must be FREEZING down there. What a shame about the stadium, yes it is some comfort that Dunkleys wasn't this weekend. Hope everything is okay with you, hope you stay inside, warm and safe, and get heaps of creating done  Speedy hands Fantail...not long until the doll show , are you happy with how things are going? I've started 2 new things ;D I've been working on them all day. Lots of working out fiddly bits 'cause I have to make it all up as I go along. |

Hey everyone Just popped in to say HI and see how you all are going... Hi to Bll...any clay time yet?? Did you do anything with the anime face-cane in the end? I thought they would make fabulous crafts..keyrings, pendants, brooches..heaps of things, it was sooo cool. Will have to show you what I made with mine some time, after I squashed it up and added silver clay to it haha. Missing your chats BTW. Anubis how are you getting on in the blizzard??? Are you sitting in front of the fire/heater making wonderful things to show us? Blue, are you ready for the doll show? looking forward to seeing your creations Fantail...ARE YOU FINISHED??? I reeeaaally hope it is going well for you, but I'm sure it's perfect. I am hoping the weather improves for the weekend, but I shall be there regardless.. Off to check out the details of the show now, and re-check the directions to get there (I'm hopeless at directions, always lost..hehe) All the best to you all, but especially to Blue and Fantail all the very best for a wonderful time at the doll show ;D

Well as they say THE SHOW MUST GO ON.. soooooo the powers that be have said yes there will still be a market in November. Now if only this wind rain hail sleet would stop its so cold.
But I have started making some dolls and things, I decided yesterday while looking at the eeewww weather how nice it would be to live in a tent in the middle of the Sahara with a camel named George. So then I thought I will make some belly-dancer pixies.

I think I left the witchy's bra clasp undone Eeeeeeeeek!     Ok so dolly is at the show - would've like to do a few more things but its done now. Hiya you two... Anubis, happy news about the show being rescheduled, and a bit more time to make additional creations. It's awesome how you people down there are bouncing back with strength...thinking of you when I check out the weather reports. I too love how your creative mind works hehe sahara desert and belly dancers...LOVE IT... ;D ...are you going to make George too? Fantail, so your witchy girl got there in the end YAY, fantastic. You made a bra for her!!!! I sooo love your attention to detail. Can't wait to see her ;D. Don't know what day I will go..Will Saturday be the busiest day? (I'm not real big on crowds  ) 'suppose it will be busy both days aye? I've been working steadily on my new things, and yes I did leave the sprites unfinished, even though I said I wouldn't do that I'm making 2 marionettes/puppets (because I'm not up to BJD's yet). So far they're going okay I think... |
