i sure will leave the book out....... its STILL OUT on the floor HA! as i have been oogeling but.......it is no where are neat a cut out as tails stuff. it is more just fold out printed house with cut outs to open the windows and doors with the cool printed inside. still cool tho all the same. as for the fantasy shoes..OMGGGGGGG DROOOOOOOOL
and yer the wax is for framing one half to pour.........for two part moulds. but i have had to stop as my finger tips are burning from pressure so ive just done the baby mould now which is a one part for silicone. Ill vacuum and pour it shortly.
i trolled and that wax can be melted. thank GOD as it is so hard the french le somethingorother brown stuff isnt this hard. urg. i might have to pull that out. its just so sticky it gets everywhere... mind you looking at the table there is wax stuff everywhere now.....lmao GROAN.
as for the fluff tails i can empathize. when i was cutting up the squares i got covered with the stuff i ended up looking like some exotic statical Yettie in my mouth eyes hair everywhere talk about walking dust / fluff bunny......lmao

I hope you got the fluff cleaned up Fantail.. and don't tell me what kind of cake you made either coz I always end up running off to find sweet treats afterwards. You'll be blamed for weight gain as well as distractions.. lol (joking, you can tell me..)

Ha I anticipated something nice like that cake, so while everyone else had a healthy dinner I am now having hot cross buns and honey for mine hehe.. I've got no cake I need to correct what I told you about using Premo clay for my flexible leaf for the troll, it just came to me that I actually used sculpey 111 for that. Sorry OT I finally did get a towbar off T'me tonight, so my day wasn't in vain. I finally have a quiet house so I'M OFF TO PLAY WITH CLAY... Yahoooo...!!!

;D Hellloooo..
Another beautiful day here today...
Those cards and images are delightful Fantail.. I actually have a book with lots of her images in that a lady gave me years ago... so much cuteness in her designs.
I made a small sheet of tiny leopard print last night, using an overlay of spots. I just have to make it thinner now and hopefully it wont stretch the spots too big... it wont matter if it does though.
Another busy day ahead today but hopefully I'll get to clay some more later...
Enjoy your day... ;D

I set off to find that book, hehe (distractions) and couldn't... I lent it to a young neighbour when she started making cards - but I'm sure she returned it. I also realised I didn't have time to keep looking for it today, but I'll have a better look later. Geeeez I have too many books!!! But I did see some great ideas in some other books I'd forgotten about.. ;D
If and when I find it I'll send it to you so you can have a look through.

Thats a great idea, I'll put aside some others too, really looking forward to the chance to catch up with you again soon.. ;D
Aaahhh books, but seriously it is an obsession... and because I have a lot of crafting styles and interests.. I have HEAPS.. in fact just this weekend alone I have bought
11 doll crafter magazines 1 houses collage book 3 art doll quarterly but they will give me a lot of enjoyment and new ideas..
I'm happy with my little leopard print clay sheet, it came out well considering. The thinner pasta machine setting did stretch the spots somewhat but it should be okay.. I might take a photo tomorrow and show you.. ;D

Morning lufflies
Glorious Books........... yes. one simply MUST have all those books. grin and wow third tail> omg you poor thing. and printed clay and all manner of mischief happens when im not around. shesh.
well i have had a really really busy wee while but i did manage to have a wee play with some silicone on a couple of test faces. man that stuff is so amazing i used platsil 10 gel which is the softest stuff ever. but got to test a few things. made more mistakes and faults than anything but was a really good learning curve. will post pics latter on.
hello Lindi hello guests. pop in and say hello ; )
bbl with trouble grin

Hi Blue Can't wait to see what all have been working on It's just stupid mistakes nothing new. The cream body seams tooo small but once I have the arm done I can tell better - strange how different materials affect the outcome maybe if I get on to the ears I can see which face is more kitty like

dash it. Daughters taken the card reader so the pics will have to wait till after school.
and yer my ( expensive) silicone mistakes were basic fundamentally amateurish mistakes --- SLAP MYSELF HARD ! But i did learn a thing or three in the process. so all is not lost. so lets not underestimate a 6 minute pot life.. GROAN VERY LOUD ! thats not a lot of time to mix, vacuum, brush , pour and rotate. OMG
all good tho. getting there one small step at a time.
your kittys sound so darn interesting tho tails its so neat to see / hear the progress as it comes together.
interesting things with impressing clay etc. cant wait to see that to.

Eeeks 6 min to do all that you will need to zip Blue maybe some super hero powers would come in handy BOL with that Trying out the 2 part tail as suppose to the 4 part tail should be easier to turn over

Well considering the experiments, 6 min time frames, tiny hand stitched kittys and the like..small leopard print sheet is no big thing really LOL.. I'll take a photo anyway...
